About The Position

As a Security Officer Hospital in Van Nuys, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Hospital vaccination requirements must be met.
Must be comfortable working in a hospital morgue.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide courteous customer service to patients, visitors, and staff while carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Screen individuals entering designated healthcare areas in accordance with facility guidelines, including directing visitors and communicating access requirements.
Observe and report unusual activity, prohibited items, and potential security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established healthcare location procedures.
Maintain accurate screening-related documentation and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
