Requirements

- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
- Be 21+ years of age.
- This post requires restraining individuals in a hospital environment.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
- Greet and screen visitors, vendors, and staff; issue temporary credentials as directed; and maintain visitor logs in accordance with location protocols.
- Monitor lobby activity, cameras, alarms, phones, and radio traffic; help to deter unauthorized entry by reporting concerns and escalating per post orders.
- Respond to incidents, disruptive behavior, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with clinical staff and/or local responders when appropriate.
- Complete shift reports and incident documentation, communicate pertinent information during post handoffs, and support confidentiality requirements within a healthcare location.
