As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech and media location, you will welcome employees and guests, manage visitor check-in, badges, and access requests, and monitor cameras and alarms to help identify security-related concerns. You will serve as a calm, professional point of contact, document incidents, and communicate clearly with site teams. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Staff the front desk to greet, screen, and direct visitors, manage sign-in and badge issuance, and coordinate guest access with internal contacts.
  • Monitor lobby activity, access control points, and security-related systems such as cameras and alarms, and report irregular activity per site procedures to help to deter unwanted entry.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and escalating to appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Answer phones and electronic inquiries, support deliveries and service vendors, and maintain accurate logs for visitor traffic, keys and/or access cards, and incident reports.
