As a Front Desk Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will welcome employees and visitors, manage access check-in, issue badges, and monitor cameras and alarms to help support a secure environment. You will document incidents, communicate clearly with site leaders, and provide customer service with professionalism and integrity. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in an industrial location.
  • Greet and screen visitors, issue temporary credentials as directed, manage sign-in and sign-out logs, and direct guests and/or vendors to designated contacts and areas.
  • Monitor access control points and security-related systems from the desk, report irregular activity, and help to deter unauthorized entry by following established protocols.
  • Answer phones and radio traffic, relay messages to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership, and maintain accurate shift documentation including incident reports and daily activity logs.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notify appropriate site personnel and/or emergency services as required, and assist with coordination during drills and real events.
