As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a welcoming environment for all. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to promote a sense of comfort, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Vaccination is required for work at hospital sites.
Applicants must be able to work in environments that include a hospital morgue.
Applicants must be able to restrain individuals as required in a hospital setting.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with security-related needs as they arise.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Observe and report any security-related irregularities, such as property damage, theft, or unusual activity, to the appropriate personnel.
Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and helping to maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
Assist with crowd control and/or visitor management during busy periods or special events within the healthcare location.
Collaborate with Allied Universal management and local law enforcement when necessary, following established protocols.
