Job Description As a Security Officer - Hospital Rounds in Memphis, TN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence for staff, patients, and visitors. This role requires driving as part of your patrol duties. Requirements

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required as a condition of employment by the client.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Applicants must be able to provide proof of vaccination as required for hospital settings.
Applicants may be required to work in or around hospital morgue environments.
Applicants must be able to restrain individuals as required in hospital settings.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying identification as required.
Support emergency response activities, including assisting with evacuations or lockdowns as directed by site leadership.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal policies.
Collaborate with medical staff and facility management to address security-related needs specific to the healthcare setting.
