About The Position

Requirements

• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required as a condition of employment by the client.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Applicants must be able to provide proof of vaccination as required for hospital settings.
• Applicants may be required to work in or around hospital morgue environments.
• Applicants must be able to restrain individuals as required in hospital settings.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying identification as required.
• Support emergency response activities, including assisting with evacuations or lockdowns as directed by site leadership.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal policies.
• Collaborate with medical staff and facility management to address security-related needs specific to the healthcare setting.
