As a Security Officer Hospital - Site Patrol in Baltimore, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide courteous customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Requirements

  • Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
  • Be able to restrain individuals.
  • Possess at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established facility protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and surrounding perimeters to help identify and report unusual conditions or potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site requirements, assisting with directions and maintaining a professional presence.
  • Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders as needed.
