In this driving post, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Be 21 years of age or older.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an industrial and/or government location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity and/or potential policy violations.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access as directed by site procedures, and help support order at restricted and public-facing areas.
  • Assist with traffic, visitor, and/or employee movement at the location while maintaining awareness of site rules, operational needs, and changing conditions.
