As a Security Officer Hospital Roving Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

• Hospital vaccines are required.
• A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and urgent situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and visitor activity while supporting staff, patients, and guests with directions, information, and other assistance as needed.
• Document observations, incidents, and security-related activities in required reports, logs, and/or communication systems according to post instructions.
