About The Position

As a Security Officer Hospital Security in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, families, visitors, and staff. Requirements

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, families, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate hospital personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific protocols, assisting with directions and supporting a welcoming environment for patients and visitors.
• Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly, following Allied Universal and site reporting procedures.
