As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a healthcare location, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your presence will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for staff, patients, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible throughout the facility, and communicate professionally, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare environments.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
Assist with access control, visitor management, and enforcement of facility policies to help maintain a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Support emergency response activities as appropriate, working with facility staff and first responders when necessary.
Document security-related incidents and activities accurately and promptly as required by site protocols and Allied Universal standards.
