About The Position

As a Security Officer Hospital Patrol Driver in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
  • Must be able to work in and around a hospital morgue.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
  • Monitor access points and assist with directing visitors, verifying credentials as required, and reporting unauthorized entry or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
  • Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation; communicate observations and concerns to Allied Universal leadership and facility representatives.
