About The Position

As a Security Officer Hospital Morning Shift in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Required hospital vaccinations are required.
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including requests for assistance within a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, building interiors, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
