About The Position

As a Security Officer Hospital Mobile Patrol in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton experience is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including support with de-escalation and notification of appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or access control issues.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to support authorized entry, protect restricted areas, and document security-related events according to site procedures.
  • Complete detailed reports and communicate with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and/or emergency responders regarding incidents, observations, and daily activity.
