Requirements
- Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, patient care areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or potential findings.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as needed, and help maintain orderly movement throughout the facility.
- Complete accurate reports, maintain required logs, and communicate observations and incidents to Allied Universal supervision and site management.
