About The Position

As a Security Officer Hospital Campus Access in Greer, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control and alarm response. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures, security-related policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and wayfinding, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership, client representatives, and emergency responders as needed.
