Requirements

  • Proof of required vaccinations is required for this hospital site.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and sharing information with appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Assist patients, visitors, staff, and vendors with directions, entry procedures, and general questions while supporting a professional presence at the location.
  • Monitor assigned areas for security-related issues, policy violations, and/or hazards, and communicate observations to site leadership and/or first responders as needed.
