About The Position

As a Security Officer High Rise Building Patrol in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to guests and staff. You will communicate clearly, respond to concerns, and support a welcoming environment while reflecting Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and/or staff at a hotel and resort location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of guest areas, common spaces, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, documenting observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately.
• Maintain a professional presence while supporting a welcoming environment for guests and assisting with directions, information, and other customer service needs.
