Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies throughout the location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and urgent situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with hospital personnel and/or first responders as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols of hallways, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe unusual conditions.
Monitor entry points, visitor activity, and restricted areas to help to support a orderly healthcare environment and report security-related concerns according to post procedures.
Document incidents, patrol activity, and notable observations, and complete required reports with attention to detail and professionalism.
