As a Screener in a healthcare location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, and supporting hospital staff and visitors. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required as mandated by the client.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Experience in a supervisory capacity is required.
Applicants must be able to work in hospital environments that include exposure to morgue operations.
Applicants must have required vaccinations for hospital settings.
Applicants must be able to safely restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Greet and screen employees, patients, and visitors entering the healthcare facility, following site-specific protocols.
Conduct temperature checks and/or health screenings as directed by the location's policies.
Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting individuals in a courteous and professional manner.
Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas within the healthcare location.
Report incidents, unusual activities, and/or potential hazards to Allied Universal management and client representatives as required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
Maintain a visible presence at designated screening points to help to deter inappropriate behavior and promote adherence to health and security-related protocols.
Assist with emergency response activities as directed by site-specific policies and procedures.
