Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Comply with hospital vaccine requirements.
  • Be willing to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, offering directions and assistance while reporting concerns to site contacts and/or supervisors.
  • Support a professional environment by observing conditions, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and assisting with traffic, parking, and general security-related presence as needed.
