As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Specialist in Albany, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by patrolling healthcare locations, remaining visible, and supporting a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, assist with access control, and provide exceptional customer service. Requirements

You must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
X-ray screening experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual activity to appropriate personnel and/or Allied Universal management.
Assist with emergency response activities as required, including guiding individuals during evacuations or other urgent situations.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and security-related concerns encountered during patrols.
