About The Position

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Specialist in Albany, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by patrolling healthcare locations, remaining visible, and supporting a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, assist with access control, and provide exceptional customer service. Requirements

• You must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual activity to appropriate personnel and/or Allied Universal management.
• Assist with emergency response activities as required, including guiding individuals during evacuations or other urgent situations.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and security-related concerns encountered during patrols.
