About The Position
As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Specialist in Danvers, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- CPR or first aid certification is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and adhering to site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Observe and report any unusual conditions or activities within the location to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
- Collaborate with staff and visitors to provide assistance or information related to security-related matters within the healthcare environment.
- Complete all required reports and documentation in a timely and accurate manner as directed by Allied Universal procedures.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions and maintain awareness of current security-related protocols relevant to the healthcare setting.
