About The Position

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Driver in Somers Point, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing exceptional customer service. Your visible presence supports a welcoming environment for staff, patients, and visitors. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of patients, visitors, and staff.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure atmosphere.
Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols within the healthcare location.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and assisting visitors as needed.
Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and healthcare staff to address security-related concerns and maintain a welcoming environment.
