Job Description As a Security Officer - Healthcare Front Desk in Naperville, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional in a healthcare location, you will be the first point of contact, greeting visitors and assisting with access control and badge procedures. You will help to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a welcoming presence and providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to visitors, staff, and patients by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
  • Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials for all individuals entering the premises as required.
  • Assist with visitor management, including signing in guests and providing directions or information as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a welcoming environment.
  • Communicate and coordinate with Allied Universal management and on-site personnel regarding security-related matters and incidents.
  • Document observations, incidents, and/or irregularities accurately in logs or reports as required by site protocols.
