Job Description As a Security Officer - Healthcare Front Desk in Wichita, KS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk professional in a healthcare location, you will be the first point of contact, managing access, assisting visitors, and responding to inquiries. You will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points and providing excellent customer service. Requirements

  • Must have received all required hospital vaccines.
  • Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist visitors, patients, and staff at the front desk, providing a welcoming presence and customer service.
  • Monitor access to the location by verifying identification and maintaining visitor logs, helping to uphold access control procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the healthcare environment.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, staff, and emergency personnel as needed, relaying information promptly and accurately.
  • Carry out security-related procedures and adhere to site-specific policies while stationed at the front desk.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed, maintaining composure and assisting with coordination when appropriate.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
