Job Description As a Security Officer - Front Desk Healthcare in Providence, RI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a healthcare location, you will greet visitors, manage access, and assist with security-related inquiries. You will deliver outstanding customer service while helping to deter incidents. This position requires a valid driver's license, as driving responsibilities may be assigned. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of a healthcare location.
  • Monitor access to the facility, verifying identification and credentials of all persons entering or exiting the premises.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Assist with visitor management, including logging guests and issuing visitor badges as required by site policies.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed, including communication with site personnel and first responders when appropriate.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of security-related activities and incidents occurring at the front desk.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or patients to address inquiries and provide information about site policies and procedures.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity through attentive observation and prompt reporting to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership.
