As a Security Officer - Healthcare Facility - Overnight Shift in Antioch, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Required hospital vaccinations must be provided.
  • Must be willing to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, common areas, and restricted spaces, assisting with visitor direction, badge and credential checks, and other access control responsibilities in accordance with site policies.
  • Support daily operations by reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and maintenance-related issues, and by following post orders and healthcare location protocols.
