About The Position

As a Security Officer - Healthcare Dispatch in New Brunswick, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in supporting healthcare locations by monitoring and coordinating security-related activities. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and coordinate incoming and outgoing communications for the location, including calls, radio traffic, and emergency notifications.
Dispatch security-related personnel to incidents and/or requests for assistance within the healthcare facility in a calm and organized manner.
Document and log incidents, calls, and activities accurately and promptly as per site-specific procedures.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors, staff, and/or patients with security-related concerns and information.
Assist in implementing site-specific policies and procedures related to security-related dispatch operations.
Respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with on-site teams as needed.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site staff to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
Conduct regular checks of communication equipment and dispatch systems to maintain operational readiness.
