As a Front Desk professional with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and staff, providing a welcoming and secure environment. Your responsibilities include monitoring entry points, assisting with visitor management, and offering excellent customer service while helping to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Assist with the management of visitor access, including verifying identification and issuing visitor badges as appropriate for a healthcare location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or security-related incidents.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare environments.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all activities and incidents that occur at the front desk post.
  • Communicate professionally with both internal staff and external parties, providing assistance and information as needed.
  • Support emergency response activities and/or drills in accordance with procedures for healthcare locations, working closely with site personnel and Allied Universal management.
