About The Position

As a Security Officer Healthcare Clinic Patrol in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. You may respond to sensitive situations, including restricted areas and individuals requiring assistance, while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, teamwork-driven, and integrity-focused values.

Requirements

  • Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
  • Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate hospital personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with directions and access-related questions while reporting unusual activity.
  • Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly according to Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.
