As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol healthcare locations to help create a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your visible presence and routine patrols will help to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Proof of hospital-required vaccines is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, staff, visitors, and patients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare settings.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related issues to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control measures, including verifying identification and monitoring entry points to restricted areas.
Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations or medical emergencies when appropriate.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities as required by site procedures.
