You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service through strong communication. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and protocols provided by Allied Universal.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the location to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence.
Document observations, incidents, and security-related activities according to company and client protocols.
Collaborate with staff and visitors to address concerns and provide assistance as needed, maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor.
Participate in ongoing training and drills to stay current with security-related procedures and emergency response protocols.
