As a Security Officer Guest Services in El Paso, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer in a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will greet visitors, manage access control and badge processes, monitor alarm panels, and provide professional customer service. You will maintain a welcoming, visible presence while helping to deter security-related incidents through clear communication and attention to detail. Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and front desk policies at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Monitor access to the facility by verifying visitor credentials, managing sign-in processes, and directing guests in accordance with site requirements.
• Answer phones, receive deliveries, maintain visitor records, and communicate routine information to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Maintain awareness of front desk activities and report unusual conditions, access concerns, and/or policy violations to site leadership or Allied Universal management.
