About The Position

As a Security Officer Graveyard Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Allied Universal Patrol Officer at a busy distribution-focused location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access activity with strong customer service and communication. Requirements

Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including exterior areas, parking areas, loading zones, docks, and perimeter access points, to help to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and/or vendors, verify credentials when required, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns to site leadership.
Support daily operations by observing for damaged gates, open doors, trailer activity, and/or other security-related issues that could impact the location.
