As a Screener in a government location, you will monitor entry points, interact with visitors, and help to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a strong presence. You will conduct routine patrols, provide clear communication, and deliver exceptional customer service. Requirements

Have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform screening of individuals entering the location by following established security-related procedures and protocols.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors and staff, answering questions, and offering directions as needed.
Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific policies.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs of screening activities, incidents, and observations as required by the site.
Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when necessary, following Allied Universal guidelines.
Remain alert and attentive while performing assigned duties, adapting to changing conditions at the government location.
