As a Screener with Allied Universal in a government location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by monitoring entrances, conducting screening procedures, and assisting visitors. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing excellent customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to those entering the location by carrying out security-related screening procedures and following site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal.
Monitor entry points and check credentials of individuals seeking access to the premises, helping to deter unauthorized entry.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for government facilities.
Maintain awareness of surroundings to help identify and report unusual activity or potential security-related concerns.
Communicate clearly and professionally with visitors, staff, and emergency responders as needed.
Document observations and incidents according to site requirements and Allied Universal procedures.
