Your role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining visible, and delivering outstanding customer service. Requirements

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
Screen individuals entering the government facility, following established protocols to help to deter prohibited items and/or unauthorized access.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal guidelines.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
Observe and report any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain a visible presence at assigned screening checkpoints to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or prohibited items.
