In this driving patrol role, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Guard card is required.
  • Possess a DOD Clearance.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
  • Monitor entry points, verify authorized access where required, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and/or maintenance issues according to site procedures.
  • Complete routine reports and documentation related to patrol activity, incidents, and/or daily operations while working in varied environments and conditions.
