Your role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining visible, and providing excellent customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct screening procedures for individuals entering the location, verifying identification and/or authorization as required.
  • Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry to the location.
  • Communicate and work closely with staff and visitors to provide assistance and information related to security-related matters.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and/or irregularities observed during the shift.
  • Support regular and/or random patrols of designated areas as required by site procedures, with a focus on helping to deter unwanted activity.
  • Follow all Allied Universal guidelines, site-specific policies, and instructions from supervisors while on duty.
