Your role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining visible, and providing excellent customer service and communication. Requirements

Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct screening procedures for individuals entering the location, verifying identification and/or authorization as required.
Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry to the location.
Communicate and work closely with staff and visitors to provide assistance and information related to security-related matters.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and/or irregularities observed during the shift.
Support regular and/or random patrols of designated areas as required by site procedures, with a focus on helping to deter unwanted activity.
Follow all Allied Universal guidelines, site-specific policies, and instructions from supervisors while on duty.
