As a Security Officer General Duty in Fountain Inn, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver strong customer service and communication. In this unarmed patrol role, you will support daily operations with an agile, reliable, and innovative approach while working as part of a caring team that leads with integrity.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response guidelines at a manufacturing and industrial location.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with supervisors, local contacts, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor logs, and report policy violations, equipment issues, and/or maintenance concerns according to post instructions.
Document daily activities, incidents, and/or observations in required reports, and support security-related operations during shifts, alarms, drills, and/or special situations.
