As a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor access points, conduct screening activities, and support security-related protocols that help reduce risk to people and operations. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

- X‐ray screening experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by following site-specific security-related procedures and access control requirements at a logistics and distribution location.
- Screen individuals, belongings, and deliveries as required, verify identification and credentials, and help manage entry and exit through designated checkpoints.
- Monitor cameras and alarm systems, document unusual activity, and communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with emergency response activities as directed by site policy.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including building interiors, dock areas, and perimeter points, with working conditions that may vary by location.
