About The Position

As a Security Officer Gated Community in Anaheim Hills, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer supporting a commercial real estate location. You will manage access points, verify credentials, monitor entry activity, assist visitors and tenants, and communicate professionally while helping to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or clients while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the commercial real estate location by verifying credentials, managing visitor entry, and maintaining required access records.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned building areas, entry points, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Maintain clear, accurate reports of visitor activity, incidents, access-control concerns, and shift-related observations in accordance with site procedures.
