As a Security Officer - Gated Community Driving Patrol in Chula Vista, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will respond to security-related concerns with agility, reliability, and integrity while working as part of a caring, innovative team.

Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe conditions requiring attention.
  • Monitor access points, observe visitor and vehicle activity, and report unusual behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations in accordance with site guidelines.
  • Complete routine reports and incident documentation related to patrol activity, observed issues, and/or client-facing interactions during the shift.
