Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced manufacturing and industrial location where you will support access control by greeting employees and visitors, verifying credentials, managing entry and delivery traffic, and completing routine patrols and incident reports. You will stay visible to help reduce security-related issues while delivering caring, people-first customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Requirements

• Security experience of 1 or more years is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to on-site personnel and visitors by following access control procedures, verifying identification, issuing badges, and/or managing sign-in and sign-out logs in a manufacturing location.
• Control entry and exit at gates, lobbies, and/or truck and delivery checkpoints, including screening deliveries, coordinating with shipping and receiving, and directing traffic flow per site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate and completing required reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter, reporting maintenance concerns and/or security-related hazards per site procedures.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and access control systems, document unusual activity, and communicate updates to supervisors and site leadership as needed.
