You will greet visitors, verify credentials, monitor entry points, and communicate concerns to the team while maintaining a visible presence that helps to deter incidents. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail mall location.
  • Control access for team members, vendors, and visitors by verifying identification and/or required authorization, issuing visitor passes, and directing guests to the appropriate area.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas for unusual activity and conditions that may help to deter unwanted behavior, and promptly report concerns according to post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support and timely notification to Allied Universal leadership and/or site management.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, and complete security-related reports, logs, and documentation as required.
