As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed in Mauldin, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm activity, and help to deter security-related incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with site personnel, and support a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, production-adjacent areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor and report unusual conditions, unauthorized persons, damaged property, and potential hazards through required communication and reporting procedures.
Control access for employees, contractors, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific requirements and maintain accurate activity logs.
